Monday, the 21st of Dec., we left for California to spend the week with David's family. My sister-in-law's in-laws own this awesome beach house in Ventura that they let us use for the week. It was a great place to stay and everyone in the family was there. We got there Tuesday around noon and the kids got straight into the hot tub. This is me and David and my sisters-in-law Carie and Malena watching the kids in the hot tub.
That night Azu and Ben made everyone carne asada tacos. You should all be jealous...very very jealous. It was delicious. We ate tacos and watched BYU win the Las Vegas Bowl. Very nice!

The next day we spent the day at the beach house playing in the huge sand box and the two hot tubs. Here's Adam and David on the top deck and then they got in the hot tub.
David and his mother made this huge sand pyramid with the little boys in the sand box. It took them almost 2 hours to complete. While Matthew took a nap, I laid in the sun and read a book. It was bliss! Then that night we went to Universal Studios and walked around City Walk and ate dinner. It was cold but fun!
