David is completely opposed to Easter baskets, bunnies and egg hunts. He thinks it's completely ridiculous that to celebrate the Savior's resurrection we have bunnies bring us presents in baskets. He grew up in Catholic dominated Mexico where they celebrated Easter with reenactments of the Savior's last week of life complete with real crucifictions. Thus Easter was something LDS Mexican saints shied away from celebrating. He doesn't even remembering having special sacrament meetings. Anyway he is not very comprising on how I want to celebrate this holiday but he did agree to baskets this year as long as we didn't tell the boys that an Easter bunny brought them. They got baskets full of swimming stuff: towels, flip flops, swim toys, goggles etc. Matthew trip and landed in Adam's baskets. We all thought it was funny but as you can see Matthew was rather traumatized.

Grandma gave the boys more Easter presents too. Then we had a Easter lesson and played a Easter memory game and the kids how to say what their match had to do with the Easter story.
