Next came the TV purchase for the toy room. This is the bonus room above our garage and when I looked at homes with them I wasn't sure how I would use that space. Now I don't know how I could live without it. I love the toy room. I never have to see the mess and the boys have their own space to have their toys out and their art projects and the wii is up here now so I don't have to hear Legos Star Wars at 7:00 am on Saturday morning through my bedroom wall.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night were spent at my parents house demolishing their master bedroom, bathroom, living room and a hall closet. Demolition is always fun but I do not envy the work ahead of them. Now we're painting the library a fabulous burnt orange color. It's called Gingerbread. I'll post pictures. The other big project was clearing out my mother-in-laws storage unit. She stayed with us last week and David and her emptied the unit into our 3rd garage and then went through all the boxes and furniture and organized everything. My mother-in-law made Lucas this blanket he's laying on. It's adorable but Lucas even more so.
We enjoyed a great conference weekend. Saturday was crazy because we had Jacob's soccer game at 9:00 am which David coached and then we raced home for Conference because David has to work during Conference. When they make the temple announcements the Public Affairs department has to be ready to post stuff and make websites go live etc. Then after conference we zipped over to Adam's soccer game which David also coached and then home again for the afternoon session. I had my sisters and mom over during Priesthood session and we ate strawberry daiquiris and soaked in the hot tub. Well, Autumn held Lucas because she couldn't get her incisions wet yet after her knee surgery. It sure made it nice for me to only have Matthew to deal with but Autumn missed out on our fabulous soak. Sunday was a nice relaxed day and the boys were so great to let me and David actually listen to conference. During the afternoon session I decided to try my hand at pie crusts and made a peach pie. Delish! I get pathetically proud of myself when my domestic tasks succeed.
The boys weren't as impressed with my peach pie and stuck with ice cream instead.
Adam has a nasty cold and early Sunday morning he woke me up to let me know his ears were draining. By Sunday afternoon the drainage had pushed his ear tube out of his ear canal. His tube has been out of his ear drum since Thanksgiving. An ear infection then pushed it out of his drum but it had just been sitting right in front of the drum. As I got ready to put drops in his ears I found it just sitting right outside his ear in a blob. It really is disgusting. Jacob thinks the picture is too disgusting to put on the blog and he might be right. So now Adam has no tubes and yet both ears are still draining so he obviously has holes in both his ear drums. We have an appointment with the ENT next month so we'll see if the holes heal by then. But hopefully this is our last ear infection for this winter and then maybe he won't have infections anymore and it will be okay that he doesn't have tubes in his ears. But in better news Matthew went pee pee in the potty on Friday night however he has refused to sit on the potty since then. Oh well, baby steps right?

You've been busy! And I must say that the last picture grossed me out. You should have listened to Jacob :). And that's way exciting that you'll be in the same ward as the Packards!
