These are some pictures of David celebrating Cinco de Mayo when he was younger.
Just kidding...I just wanted a reason to post the cute pictures of David as a little boy. I don't have pictures of David celebrating Cinco de Mayo because no one in Mexico celebrates it. Really I've been in Mexico on Cinco de Mayo and celebration is pretty much absolutely nothing. In fact I bet most Americans don't even know why Cinco de Mayo is a holiday. So let's take a little quiz.
Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of:
a. Mexico's Independence from Spain.
b. The day the Mayan calendar says Quetzalquotel (the feathered serpent God) will return.
c. When the Aztec's defeated Hernan Cortes and his conquistadores in 1519.
d. When the Mexican army defeated a French Army in 1862.
And for the answer we'll rely on good ole Wikipedia, so click here.
Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Thanks! I love a good quiz and I was right! I think Marci told me that a few years ago, otherwise I would have gotten it wrong too!
e) The first time the Chupacabras attacked a human in Puebla.
Just so you know there is a big celebration on cinco de mayo in Puebla, since that's where the battle against the Chupacabras took place. And since I lived in Puebla I celebrate it.
This is true. Nonetheless they cancel the celebration this year because of the flu. I use to like May when I was little because of all the holidays and "Puentes" <-- Now that is a good cultural question, what does that mean?
