Preschool Graduation

Last night was Jacob's graduation from Miss Melva's preschool. I knew they were going to have a little program but I was afraid that Jacob wouldn't stand up in front of the audience. However, he did a great job and not once was afraid. He sang all his songs and said the poems and was just adorable. We were very proud of him and yes I'll admit at one point I almost cried. He is just growing up too fast for me. One of the best parts of preschool has been the 3 other boys from our neighborhood that go to preschool with him. They are good friends and have great mothers that help me raise Jacob to be a good boy. Preschool has been a wonderful experience for both Jacob and me. Two weeks ago, we were at the library and I knew Jacob had been practicing sounding out words at preschool so we got some easy readers from the library and I was shocked how well Jacob could read. He can read entire books by himself or with very little help from me. And now that he's been reading to me each night he's improving even more. Way to go, Jacob! And THANK YOU, Miss Melva!
